Biography:

My core linguistics research applies theoretical and experimental methods to explore structure, meaning, and sound in natural language. I’m particularly interested in how structure and meaning vary across different dialects of American English. Visit my Linguistics Research page for more information and links to papers, and click here to see my TED talk on “double negatives”. If you’re an undergraduate interested in getting involved in research on these topics, please feel free to contact me at fkb1@psu.edu.
